Where do I start?
All volunteers must attend an orientation before volunteering at SFAR. Orientation is online! Once you've completed your application and orientation, you can start volunteering. New volunteers will get an overview of rescue operations and policy, and a better idea of the volunteer opportunities that we have available. For more information email info@sfanimalrescueil.org.

Join Our Rescue Team!
SFAR would not function without the help of volunteers. We are a new rescue and need people to help build our organizational capacity and visibility so that we have the ability to help animals in need. As we grow, we need people who want to work with the community. We need you. We need your brilliance, your drive, your expertise and your passion. It goes without saying that volunteers help build the foundation we need to reach new programmatic heights. Excited?!?
Well, go ahead and join our amazing team of lifesavers!

Do you have experience with building a donor base, identifying prospective donors, corporate giving and overall fundraising? Do you feel comfortable talking to people about supporting an amazing organization through donations? If you answered yes to any of those questions it clearly means that one of your strengths is development or fundraising and we are looking for you! In this volunteer role, you will be helping to ensure that we can increase our donor base and overall fundraising capabilities to ensure the animals in our program have access to life changing programming.
Marketing
The goal of marketing is to raise awareness for our rescue. The goal of the marketing coordinator is to develop and execute the plans and strategies to accomplish that.
